Meet Our Leadership
President & CEO
Kyle Nieman, a 35-year veteran of the insurance industry, is President and Chief Executive Officer of Protexure Insurance Agency, Inc. Prior to joining Protexure, Kyle was senior vice president of distribution strategy at CNA where he managed agency/broker relationships and cross-sell strategies. Prior to leading distribution, Kyle was Vice President of Underwriting for CNA’s multiple professional liability portfolios including accountants, attorneys and real estate agents. For over 20 years, Kyle was responsible for underwriting and program management for the AICPA endorsed professional liability program and several state bar programs at CNA and at Crum and Forster where he started his career.
Director of Information Technology
Curtis joined the Protexure team in 2017 as the Senior IT Business Analyst. Curtis is an accomplished application management professional with expertise in developing, supporting, and managing multiple client and web-based applications. Since joining the Protexure team, Curtis has expanded his knowledge base to support all aspects of technology. His support allows for all Protexure business units to operate at a high efficiency level.
Since joining Protexure Insurance Agency in 2018, Jess has worked as an Underwriter, Senior Underwriter, and Underwriting Manager, helping our underwriting team with new business applicants, underwriting decisions, and the growth and development of the company’s Sub-Produced Business. Serving as the Underwriting Manager at Protexure Insurance Agency, Jess plays a major role in managing the company’s book of business and Sub-Produced business. Through her commitment to this role, she has helped grow Protexure’s book of business while fostering broker/sub-produced relationships.
Director of Sales & Customer Service
Since Joining Protexure Insurance Agency, Inc. in 2010, shortly after the company’s formation, Ryan has held many roles. From underwriting to new business sales, he has extensive experience with Protexure clients. Ryan currently serves as Assistant Vice President of Sales where he oversees all sales for direct insureds and actively works to improve the customer experience and sales process. He holds a BS in accounting and an MBA, with an emphasis in Financial Management, from Benedictine University.
Digital Marketing Manager
Emma joined Protexure Insurance Agency in 2017, shortly after graduating from college with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. As Digital Marketing Manager, Emma leads the digital and content marketing efforts at Protexure. She is experienced in a wide range of marketing services, including content marketing, email marketing, lead generation, marketing automation, social media, and website management. In 2020 Emma earned an MBA and a Graduate Certificate in Management Information Systems from Auburn University.
Fran Moreno is a 30-year insurance industry veteran. Previously Fran was an Executive Assistant to the Sales Department of Hub International for 17 years. She has been with Protexure as the Office Manager since its inception in January 2010. As Office Manager she not only provides administrative support but is responsible for the overall coordination of a broad range of services/resources which allow the organization to operate efficiently. In general, Fran is the “Go to” person at Protexure.
